The EU parliament passed legislation this month which will bring in tough measures on conflict minerals across Europe.

The legislation will enforce mandatory monitoring systems for the whole supply chain of conflict minerals, which not only affects smelters and importers, but also requires the 800,000 EU manufacturing companies to implement robust due diligence processes.

Following the publication of our university carbon report in April 2015, Brite Green will be holding a webinar with EAUC at 12pm on the 9th June to discuss the report findings and our methodology for reviewing the 2013/14 emissions figures. We'll also hear from Jonathon Mills from Lancaster University and Graham Barton from the Royal Agricultural University about their carbon management plan experience.
