Brite Green and London Luton Airport Limited (LLA) have been recognised for their outstanding collaboration on the LLA 2023 Sustainability Report, earning a nomination in the Sustainability, Reporting & Communications category at this year’s edie Awards.

The edie Awards are industry-leading accolades that recognise excellence across sustainability, environmental innovation, and corporate responsibility. Running for over 15 years in the UK, they honour businesses, projects, and individuals who are driving real change towards a low-carbon, resource-efficient future. With categories spanning energy, circular economy, sustainable supply chains, and leadership, the edie Awards highlight the pioneers setting new standards for sustainable business practice.

Brite Green have worked with LLA since 2017 on both sustainability strategy and reporting, and this nomination is a welcome recognition of that long-term partnership. The judges were impressed by the report’s transparency and comprehensiveness, given the deep dive into community engagement, environmental progress and customer experience.

The Brite Green team had the pleasure of hearing keynote speaker Christiana Figueres, former Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) deliver an inspiring talk on sustainability, as well as the increasing challenges industries face in hitting their targets.
