Starcom MediaVest is a world leading media agency and part of the Publicis Groupe. Environmental management is important to the company culture and they have an excellent environmental management system certified to ISO 14001:2004.
Brite Green provide Starcom with ongoing support for their management system, including internal audits and advice on performance improvements.
Ongoing support for environmental management system
Starcom MediaVest has had a certified ISO 14001 environmental management system since 2009 and have well embedded environmental management processes. The main environmental impacts at the company’s London offices are energy use, water use, and waste, along with resource use and impacts from extensive travel.
Brite Green has worked with the Facilities Manager since 2013 to provide hands on support for the management system and give the internal team an expert, external perspective. We undertake the internal audit on an annual basis including the review of legal compliance. As part of this ongoing support, we also help ensure the procedures and documentation are up to date and support the update process where material changes to the business take place, such as the company’s relocation in 2015.
In addition to the audit support, Brite Green also provides detailed analysis on key aspects of Starcom’s environmental impacts, particularly around energy where reduction opportunities have been identified through analysis of half hourly energy data.
