Royal Agricultural University
The Royal Agricultural University (RAU) is a world-renowned teaching and research university, providing education, research and consultancy on agriculture and the rural environment. Currently, the university is home to over 1,100 students from more than 40 countries at its campus in Cirencester, Gloucestershire.
As a HEFCE funded university, in 2011 the RAU was required to develop a carbon reduction target and management plan to support the sector reduction target of 43% by 2020.
At the halfway point the RAU approached Brite Green to review their Carbon Management Plan and assess their ability to meet their 2020 carbon reduction targets.
